Live Twittercast TONIGHT from Los Angeles! 10:30pm Pacific Time
Tonight's show from The Mint in Los Angeles will be available tonight on Twitter!! Here's where to find it at 10:30pm Pacific time:
Here's how the live Twittercast works. Mark Thorton heads our crack Twittercast team, with two Mac notebooks and a broadband link. They record the first song on one computer, the second on the other, ping ponging back and forth. After each song, Mark rips it, posts it and sends out a tweet. If you are with us "live", you will get the show on a one song tape delay.
Why do we do it this way instead of streaming?
Twittercasting has two huge advantages over streaming: it's more reliable and it's free. Free for us means lots more free stuff for you.
