Interview: Roger McNamee. Musician, Investor, Occupier

When Roger McNamee and his band +Moonalice play “American Dream Rag” at Occupy Wall Street protests, not everyone knows he’s one of Silicon Valley's most successful investors.

Here’s a 55-year old, long- haired guy singing “They took everything we have, but we don’t cry/We can’t afford to drink, but we still get high.”

According to Moonalice legend, the beta period for moonalice.com is over and we are now live! Our work continues and you can expect significant upgrades in the coming year.

If you are wondering what the big deal is with this site, here are a few of our thoughts:

* "control panel": the site is organized by show, with all the content in one play. The site serves whichever show the fan requests.

We continue to fix bugs and add features to the Moonalice beta site. The big news this week is that the poster navigation bar (above) works now! When you see a V, the show has video; an A means there is audio.

Another huge improvement relates to the music player on iPhones and iPads. Thanks to a new technology called HTML 5, our music player on iPhone and iPad is truly killer. When we first opened the beta, however, the product had no "play all" capability because Apple didn't have one. Now they do and so do we!!!
