According to Moonalice legend, today is The Day After. It is also the first day of The Days Between the Days Between. For Moonalice, the Days Between are the nine days when we are a Grateful Dead tribute band.
Alexandra Fischer’s poster depicts Canyon Girl, an original, but previously unknown member of the Merry Pranksters, who lived her entire life here in Placerville. Canyon Girl took some acid, dreamed she married both Ken Kesey and Jerry Garcia, got virtually pregnant by both, and devoted her remaining days to raising a pair of dream girls right here by the riverside. If any of that had actually happened, you might find Canyon Girl right by your side. Instead, you will have to make due with this beautiful poster.
