According to Moonalice legend, Redwood City has a well deserved reputation for attracting wildlife. Unfortunately, climate change and the emergence of San Francisco as the hub for technology innovation have taken their toll on some of Redwood City’s most entertaining species, most notably the Hippie Entrepreneur. As traditional species die off, the community has become a hotbed of cryptozoology … the study of species that do not actually exist. With the approach of the presidential election, cryptozoologists are focused on that most elusive of species, the honest politician. Traces have been found of both the male and female of the species, but neither appears to be native to this region. That has not prevented the press and the community from going to DefCon1, necessitating a full lockdown. I bring this up because tonight’s poster by David Singer depicts Foxy Moonalice, who is in charge of security for tonight’s show.
