Who Was There?
According to Moonalice legend, today’s poster by Lee Conklin depicts the first time the earth danced in Chico. This was a long time ago, back when Chico was still hanging with Groucho and Harpo. MGM filmed the Sherwood Forest scenes in the original Robin Hood right here. By the end of filming all of the actors had paired up. To the surprise of everyone, Robin Hood fell in love with Richard the Lionhearted, which forced Maid Marion to go home with Friar Tuck. You can image how that shook things up. The earth took one look and joined the fun. This place has been shaking ever since.
