Wes Wilson, one of the Big Five artists who revolutionized poster art in the 60s, has died at age 82. Wes' trailblazing use of text influenced every poster artist who followed him. His iconic 1965 anti war poster, "Are We Next?", was created in his spare time while working at a print shop.

Wes created 26 posters for Moonalice, 3 for Roger McNamee solo, plus a reprint of "Are We Next?" that was distributed at a Moonalice concert in Union Square in the weeks prior to the 2016 presidential election.

Wow! 2019 was an incredible year for Moonalice. We got off to a very slow start because of other commitments, including Roger's activism, but beginning Memorial Day weekend our schedule filled up and things started to happen. The Summer Solstice show in Golden Gate Park brought us together with the T Sisters and The New Chambers Brothers, which led to an experiment that evolved into a fun thing that soon became a new Moonalice.
