Dream Puzzle - Individual panels by Moonalice artist Dennis Larkins align to form magnificent mural!!!
Separately, they have made for amazing poster art for five Moonalice shows. Together, they align to form a magnificent five panel mural that their creator, Moonalice artist Dennis Larkins, has called “Dream Puzzle.”
The final mural measures 24 inches high X 7.5 feet wide and, as is typical of Dennis' phenomenal art for Moonalice, is painted in three-dimensional relief on panel.
The panels are named as follows, from left to right:
Panel 1: “Seeds of Change”
Panel 2: “Country Pies”
Panel 3: “Floating Around the Fringes”
Panel 4: “Moon Tracks”
Panel 5: “Flying High”
Dennis has provided commentary to each panel, below:
“Seeds of Change”
“Since the dawn of time humans have always understood that no matter how sophisticated their forms of transportation become, a giant hand holding a crystal ball will appear in the sky to remind them of what’s really important in life…pixie dust!”
“Country Pies” and “Floating around the Fringes” (written for the pair together)
“Nothing says “Good Old Days” like apple pie at the diner and a big toothy vintage car with a pretty dancing girl twirling on the hood! Add in a giant friendly cow nosing through the kitchen window and bathing beauties soaring through the air on Spring breezes and you’ve got yourself a Festival!”
“Moon Tracks”
“The faithful are invited to gaze in meditation upon the wonders of the Mysterious Digital Trinity; Terestio, Celestio and Moonalicio…expressed, of course, in the past perfect tense.”
“Flying High”:
“Flying through the air with the greatest of ease, whether floating on a pillow or jet propelled, we can peer into the darkness of the city to find rescue in the arms of second chances…just in the nick of time!”
