Who Was There?

According to Moonalice legend, today's poster by Caroline Ferris depicts Stony Squirrel Moonalice and his penguin sidekick, Bud.  Stony and Bud got off to a rough start in Hollywood - back in the early 60's - when they lost the cartoon audition to Rocky & Bullwinkle.  But Stony and Bud never gave up.  They moved to Junction City and devoted themselves to tribal agriculture.  Their herb was overpowering from the first puff, but supplies were only available to tribes that stomped.  No one who  enjoyed Stony/Bud product ever admitted it came from a rodent and a very small flightless bird.   Now you know.   If you stomp with enough magic, Stony and Bud will appear.   The password is 4:20.

* Mookie Siegal played keyboards on Coconut Wireless.

* Temperature at gig time: 103 degrees F.
