According to Moonalice legend, the Good Old Days festival is happening right here on the streets of Pacific Grove. This location is filled with historical significance. For example, that building right there was once a commune filled with hippies just like us, only more so. But did you know that about the first festival on this site? It occurred back in the dark ages - the early 60s - when an earlier version of our tribe met up with members of the Rumsen branch of the Ohlone tribe to celebrate the departure of those pesky monarch butterflies. As today's poster by Dennis Larkins shows, our guys showed up in a station wagon with a camper full of weed, administered by Big Steve and Pokey. The Rumsens brought their guitars and rocked the joint. They taught us everything we know!!!
