Moonalice Begins 1080p Live Broadcasts of Concerts

The band Moonalice has upgraded its MoonTunes® live video broadcasts to 24 frame-per-second 1080p. The first such transition occurred Friday night from 19 Broadway Niteclub in Fairfax, CA, and was followed by transmissions from Grass Valley and Mill Valley, CA. "It looks amazing on a 60-inch flat panel display," said Roger McNamee, a member of Moonalice. "I only wish I had one."
MoonTunes® is a turnkey system for live video broadcasts that was created by Moonalice. The band has had more than 300 live transmissions, and has also provided its services to the Dave Matthews Band, the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival, and others. Thanks to MoonTunes®, fans can watch concerts in HD on computers, tablets and smartphones. The upgrade to 1080p from 720p - which is the highest resolution displayable on most smart phones and tablets - will make a visible difference on large screen televisions.
